Mariquita, off Antibes

€1,600.00

2016. Acrylic on canvas. 81 x 100 cm.

Mariquita was designed by William Fyfe III and built and launched at the Fairlie yard on the Clyde in 1911. She was built to the 19 metre class rule, though she is in fact about 120 foot in length.

This painting is here in the studio and is for sale. It is also an example of what can be done as a “yacht portrait”. Here I have used my own photographs for reference but I can equally work from photographs provided by you. As a comissioned yacht portrait at this size (81 x 100 cm) the price would be €1,600.

Paintings are packed in plywood boxes. Shipping and insurance are included in the price in the European Union. Please contact me for other countries.

See your possible choice of picture hung in your house.

Take a good photo of the room where you might like to hang the painting and email it to me. Try and keep the vertical lines in the photo as vertical as possible. Send me the measurements of something in the shot (a radiator, a wall or a table top) that I can use to estimate the scale. I will send you back your photo with the picture on the wall. There is no charge for this, and we can try as many variations as you like.
