Rowdy , a New York 40 from 1916, along with her sister ship Chinook, is one of the few survivors of this one design class. The second picture shows Rowdy and Chinook off the Fort Carré, Antibes. They are shown here as two further examples of “yacht portraits”. The two paintings were commissioned to celebrate Rowdy’s centenary. A similar size of portrait would be € 2,000.
